The Scholarship Committee not only awards scholarships based merely on financial or academic merit – or a combination of the two, but the committee also tries to measure the heart, drive, desire, talent, and the qualities of character that allow individuals to overcome the hardships in life to become successful contributors to society.
The scholarship committee manages the award and administration of scholarships not only by setting standards and establishing and maintaining standards for the award and administration of scholarships but also following up ensuring that scholarship recipients receive the funds awarded.
