Transfer Station requires tickets
The Transfer Station requires residents to purchase tickets for all garbage disposal. Each ticket is $1.50 and multiple tickets can be purchased in advance at the Town Office and at the Transfer Station. One ticket is required for every 34-gallon bag of trash, and larger bags will require two tickets ($3 total) for disposal.

Recycling
We do recycle plastic, newspaper, tin cans, used motor oil and cardboard, but please break down (flatten) all boxes. Any items being dumped into the debris container must be paid for before dumping.

- #2 Plastic – Well rinsed milk jugs, laundry detergent bottles, etc
- Glass bottles and jars cleaned (caps must be removed)
- Tin cans – cleaned (labels need to be removed)
- Dry corrugated cardboard

- Brush, Tree limbs or trunks
- Stumps (must be separated from brush and tree limbs as requires extended burn time)
- Compost (leaves, cornstalks, vegetable plants (no spoiled food products))
